Rhonda Williams developed a passion for cars in her early teenage years, with her initial vehicle being a 1977 Mustang II. Despite it not being her favorite Mustang model, it marked the beginning of Rhonda’s enduring love for Ford and their iconic Mustangs. Since turning 16, Rhonda has owned five different Mustangs.
In 2016, Rhonda embarked on her autocross journey, debuting her 2004 NPCF Mustang at the Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup. Since then, she has immersed herself in racing and has actively participated in events. Over the past seven years, Rhonda has garnered significant attention across the United States, showcasing her 2004 and 2019 NPCF-branded Mustangs.
Driven by her passion, Rhonda takes pride in using her love for Mustangs as a platform to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer. #24 has become a symbol of her commitment to the cause, and Rhonda continues to make a positive impact in her community and beyond.
Trevor’s love for drag racing started in 1986 when his dad bought a 1969 Chevelle SS. Trevor was 12 years old. He remembers helping him work on it for hours, tuning, tweaking, and perfecting its performance. Pulling the motor, rebuilding it, and tweaking some more. It was a very fast streetcar, and his dad wanted it to be the quickest car in the rural county they lived in. We would go out and drag race a small local group on warm summer nights.
Trevor doesn’t remember him ever losing a race! In high school, Trevor had a 74 Nova and then a 79 Firebird with a Big Block Pontiac. He enjoyed working on them and seeing how fast he could make them run on a tight budget! Finally, in 2002.
Trevor purchased his dream car, a 71 Camaro Pro Street. It is drag race only, and Trevor and Rhonda love taking it to the local track on weekends. It runs a mid 6 second 1/8th mile or a high 9 second ¼ mile.
Trevor’s wife Rhonda also introduced him to the world of autocross, and they enjoy that several times a summer, taking out the NPCF Mustangs and bringing more awareness to Pancreatic Cancer. Trevor drives the 40th Anniversary 2004 NPCF Mustang
Tyler is a 13 year old who fell in love with racing after attending a few races to support his friends. At the age of 8, Tyler started racing his own go-kart. The 2024 season will be his 5th season of racing. He has won several track championships, as well as runner-up. Tyler’s goal is to eventually work his way up from go-karts to bigger and faster cars. Until then, he is focusing on becoming more aware of handling, learning ways to help make his kart faster, and having fun.
Jayce, who turned 7 in November, started racing go-karts in 2022 when he was 5 years old. The 2024 season will be his 3rd season of racing. After attending many of big brothers’ races, Jayce also fell in love with the sport and couldn’t wait until he was old enough to have his own go-kart. In his first year of racing, he received runner-up. Even though he still has a ways to go, Jayce’s goal is to also work his way up from go-karts to bigger and faster cars. For now, we will focus on improving his skills and having fun.
