Ginger Ale

 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh ginger root (sliced)
  • 1 lemon or lime (sliced)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/3 tsp. Stevia extract
  • 1 quart carbonated water

 

Directions

  • Peel and slice the ginger.
  • Slice the lemon in 1/4 inch circles.
  • Place both in the water and simmer for 25 mins.
  • Strain the liquid into a glass container.
  • Stir in Stevia (to taste) and refrigerate.
  • To serve, pour equal amounts of the ginger water and carbonated water into a glass. This will make 2 quarts.
